About Us

Ronald McDonald House Long Island was established in 1986 in New Hyde Park next to Cohen Children’s Medical Center, serving sick children and families out of the 18-bedroom House. Today, the House is 42-bedrooms with expanded programs to serve families in-hospital. Set to open in 2027, we are building a second Ronald McDonald House next to Suffolk County’s only pediatric hospital, Stony Brook Children’s.
