Twelve years ago, the interior design community renovated and restored the Ronald McDonald House in New Hyde Park. As we build a new House next to Stony Brook Children’s Hospital, we are inviting designers to lend their time and talents once again.

Features of the new House will include:

  • 30 private bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms

  • Media center to work remotely or connect with loved ones

  • Outdoor playground for children to enjoy

  • Playrooms with toys and games for all ages

  • Transportation services for easy access to appointments

  • Kitchens and home-cooked meals every night

  • Fully stocked 24/7 laundry facilities

  • Fitness Center, Meditation Room, Wellness Center and so much more!

The new house is currently under construction, scheduled to open by the end of 2027.

The new 60,000 sq. ft. Ronald McDonald House in Stony Brook will offer overnight accommodations, comfort, love and hospitality to families caring for their seriously ill or injured children at the hospital. The House is planned to open in 2027—but we need your help.
