Located in Stony Brook Children’s and Stony Brook Children’s NICU, our two Ronald McDonald House Family Rooms are just steps from the children’s hospital rooms. Ronald McDonald House Family Rooms are open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and provide a space for families to rest, recharge, grab a meal and take a shower.
Oh, and they’re the perfect place for brothers and sisters to do arts & crafts, wrestling, card games, and general goofing off.
The Ronald McDonald House Family Rooms serve nearly 3,000 families annually. Today, we are building a Ronald McDonald House next to Stony Brook Children’s to further our care programs and provide families with overnight stays, love, and comfort throughout their child’s hospitalization.
Meals are a great need at the Ronald McDonald House Family Rooms. Consider donating a catered meal from a local restaurant to support families in the hospital. We appreciate your generosity!
