The Lloyd Frazier Memorial Golf Outing took place on July 13, 2026 at the North Hempstead Country Club. Over 200 golfers and tennis players came out to support Ronald McDonald House Long Island in recognition of 40 years of care. Since 1986, Ronald McDonald House Long Island has been providing essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare. In celebration of 40 years of care, Ronald McDonald House Long Island honored six former Lloyd Frazier Memorial Golf Outing Event Chairs: Katie Hunt Rotolo, Pete Rotolo, Andy Laufer, Anthony J. LoPresti, Jack Bert and Gerald Laurino. Together, these dedicated honorees, their guests, and our broader community raised nearly $500,000 to support critical family-centered care programs.

Care and Healing at Ronald McDonald House
Our guests of honor at the Lloyd Frazier Memorial Golf Outing were the Hofmann Family. When Wendy, Lance and their son went out to dinner in Atlantic Beach in December of 2025, they had no idea that their life was about to change forever. In collaboration with Northwell Cohen Children’s Medical Center, Ronald McDonald House Long Island became a haven of hope and healing for the family.
On the way home from dinner, a drunk driver hit the family head-on and the family was air-lifted to the hospital where they stayed for over a month. 12-year old Luke and mom, Wendy suffered the worst injuries. Once Wendy was able to leave the hospital, her and Lance stayed close to Luke at Ronald McDonald House: New Hyde Park. There, they were able to continue their healing. As Luke became stronger, they found strength in being together.
